American Airlines Plans $15 Bag Fee →
AA, you are NOT a discount airline. You CANNOT do this sort of thing and still expect people to fly AA. Maybe if your tickets were $0, then you could charge for bags.

Truer words have never been spoken.
I want to highlight yet another incidence of ridiculous cultural insensitivity in the Globe and Mail. Stephanie Nolen is the Globe and Mail African correspondant. In her latest blog post she says ”the members of the Collectif des femmes pour la lutte contre l’immigration clandestine au Sénégal had been recognized that morning by Senegalese president Abdoulaye Wade for their work, and...

Déjà Vu Dining →
As many of you know, I sometimes get uncurably homesick. Alright, I admit, there is one cure: American chain dining, and thats what makes The Land of the Two Holy Mosques great, it has no shortage of it. Sso when I read this NYTimes article, I was excited. I think I’ll go to Chili’s or TGIFridays sometime.

One of my pet peeves: teenagers who are more...
Here comes the next big thing in modelling: Karlie Kloss. She’s only 15 and has already been in a ton of shows, on the cover of Teen Vogue and in a New York Time Style editorial. At least she isn’t a slut like some other 15 years olds. Also, I’ve added comments to the blog. What do you think? Should I keep them?

I know Byron would disagree on the privacy aspect of something like this, but I think this is a good idea. As someone who has an astonishingly poor short term memory, being able to check what my grades are online would be great. And being able to see your progress over the school year would be nice.

Did we hear it right? Did US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, in London for a major meeting on the Palestinian situation, really attack Arab states for not doing enough to help the Palestinians? Incredibly, yes.
