A really great movie scene would be where this robot malfunctions and uses the scientist’s credit card to buy something expensive like a canoe. When the scientist finds out, he flips his lid and tells the robot to grab the canoe and follow him down to the lake. There, the scientist orders the robot to get into the canoe and sarcastically tells him to have a great time because apparently, everything is all about the robot and the scientist is only happy if the robot is happy. The scientist’s tactics succeed in making the robot feel ashamed and embarrassed and as he paddles the canoe in circles around the lake, the camera zooms in on the robot to see the tears of oil streaming down his face.
